By default, filezilla server will send welcome message containing its full version number.

This can be dangerous.
As of FileZilla Server 1.5.0, you can have filezilla server supress the version number in the welcome message by setting a "has_version" attribute to "false" to the welcome_message element in the configuration file settings.xml.
